Tonight, it was the first time I went for Pro Bono at Woodlands legal clinic. It was a great experience. Sitting in with the session between the lawyer and the applicant taught me some stuff, such as how to interview the client to source for information that is useful for the case. I'm in Year 3 Sem 1, yet it's my first time... Regret being so slacked in my first two years... But well, I joined band, so might not have the time anyways... Now that I'm not in the band anymore, shall make Pro Bono work my CCA. Haha... Not something formal, just try to volunteer as much as possible. Doing Pro Bono at the legal clinic actually motivates me, cos' it reinforces the passion I had when I wanted to study law. Hearing the applicants tell their story makes me want to help and advice so much... But I'm not qualified yet, so can only sit beside the lawyer to take notes for the time being. That's still enough to inspire me! Haha... Jiayou jiayou for the last 2 years of law school!! |
